The Creatress Project is an ongoing project. It was created and is currently managed by Kate Shylo who is a multi-faceted artist based in Amsterdam. She obtained her BA in English Literature from Kingston University London in 2018 and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Comparative and Cultural Analysis at the University of Amsterdam. In her academic and creative work, she explores issues surrounding memory, trauma, space and identity. Her short story “Making Conversation” (2016) was published in Kingston University’s literary anthology RiPPLE and her autobiographical piece “Being” (2018) was shortlisted at the Spread The Word Life Writing Prize in London. Kate works and collaborates with artists and academics in Luxembourg, Cyprus, India and the United Kingdom.
The Creatress Project was published in Cyprus at the cultural centre Phaneromenis 70 as part of the Delivering Views project.
Kate is continually looking for female artists* from all over the world to collaborate with and share women’s stories with the world.
